:::I’ve been been married for four years to my highschool sweetheart, who is now a dentist in Chattanooga. We have no children but consider our yorkie, Bentley, and boxer, Aston, to be our kids at the moment.
:::I specialize in casual, on-location photography sessions that fit your personality and I strive to capture relaxed and honest expressions in each photo!

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia in September of 1984 to Steve and Joni Darmody, and was welcomed by my older brother, Alan. Our family moved to Northwest Arkansas a few years after I was born, where my dad pastored the Gentry Seventh-Day Adventist Church and my mom taught at Ozark Adventist Academy (OAA). We lived in Arkansas for nearly 15 years, and I graduated from Ozark Elementary School (now named Ozark Adventist School) and OAA (’03).
When faced with the many choices of Universities to attend, I chose not to stay in one place, like I did through grade school and academy. I completed a year and a half of my studies at Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, TN, then studied abroad at Newbold College in Bracknell, England, and returned to the states for my final two years at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas. I graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in Communication, emphasizing in P.R. and Advertising. I was blessed with my first job at Loma Linda University School of Allied Health Professions in Loma Linda, California as their Alumni Affairs Officer. I managed the annual alumni homecoming events, nationwide reunions and alumni publications. This position at Loma Linda gave me such an awesome opportunity to grow in my love of graphic design. While a senior in Academy, I began dating Brooks Pruehs, a musically talented, spiritual, driven, and very handsom young man who captured my heart. Brooks and I got married on June 24, 2007 and in our four+ years of marriage, we’ve taken to many outside activities including mountain biking, hiking, golfing and the occasional snowboarding/skiing trip. Brooks graduated from Loma Linda University Dental School in June of 2011 and we now happily live in Chattanooga Tennessee where Dr. Pruehs works for Shabo Dental Center & Spa.

In 2006 my dad made a really big and really appreciated investment in me…he bought me my first Canon DSLR camera. I loved that Canon 30D and learned so much about photography with that great piece of equipment. Thank you daddy! I’ve upgraded equipment since then, but I’m definitely still a Canon girl.
In recent months I’ve taken to the joy of cooking and baking. It’s been so much fun and I’ve discovered that I’m not that bad at it! I also LOVE taking pictures of my food creations. Check them out by clicking HERE.
